Why Reed & Sons Jewelers?

Reed & Sons Jewelers has served Sedalia since 1939, when a watchmaker opened the doors with what was left of his savings after an emergency appendectomy took half of them. The family line of jewelers runs back further still, to a jeweler and optician working in Milan, Missouri in 1903, and the store is now in the hands of its fifth generation – a bench trained at the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology, with Gemological Institute of America certification in diamonds and diamond grading. Five generations of watchmakers and jewelers have built the store on the same habit: careful work done in-house, for customers it expects to see again. That is the standard behind every custom engagement ring we design at our Sedalia showroom.
